Like other self-storage work in the Orlando area, the building mixes a large storage floor plate with a smaller conditioned office and plumbing load.
The Challenge
The engineering had to serve a 75,000-square-foot storage building without treating every bay as occupied commercial space. Mechanical and plumbing systems had to match storage, office, and restroom use.
The design had to provide mechanical and plumbing engineering for the 75,000-square-foot facility.

BEED provided mechanical and plumbing engineering design. Electrical engineering was not listed as part of this assignment.
