Project Overview
Soars Medical in Oviedo, Florida is a 5,000-square-foot diagnostic center. BEED Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering design services.
A diagnostic center is a clinical building with waiting, imaging or testing rooms, and support spaces. Mechanical and plumbing systems have to serve that occupancy without treating the project as a general office.
The Challenge
Diagnostic occupancies need conditioned air and plumbing that can support clinical use in 5,000 square feet. The design had to provide mechanical and plumbing engineering for the Oviedo diagnostic center.

BEED provided mechanical and plumbing engineering design. Electrical engineering was not listed as part of this assignment.
