Project Overview
The City of West Melbourne required MEP engineering for a municipal maintenance building. BEED Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design for that facility, in Brevard County between Melbourne and Palm Bay.
This assignment is separate from BEED’s mechanical systems design for the interactive fountain and splash pad at West Melbourne Community Park.
The Challenge
A city maintenance building mixes shops, storage, and occupied support space. HVAC, power, and plumbing have to serve that municipal use rather than a commercial office layout.
The design had to provide a coordinated MEP package for the West Melbourne maintenance building.
